Precautions to take before your arrival at the office

An identity document

A certificate of insurance or possible coverage

The references of your glasses and/or your contact lenses (or at least the old prescription)

Your previous ophthalmological prescriptions and the doctor’s letter directing you to our consultation

Elements of your ophthalmological file if certain examinations have already been carried out (angiography, visual field, OCT, etc.)

Previous biological tests, particularly if you are diabetic

Your tour will vary depending on the reason for your visit:

Progress of the consultation

  1. The doctor will perform a complete assessment of your eye condition. If necessary, he may recommend additional examinations.

  2. Prescriptions will be issued to you, which may include optical correction, biological and radiological assessment, as well as appropriate treatment.

In case of surgical treatment

  • It is desirable that the patient takes a shower the day before the procedure.

  • Refrain from bringing valuable objects to the clinic.

  • Ensure that a pre-anesthetic consultation has been carried out beforehand.

  • For women, do not wear makeup the day before and the day of the procedure.
